The Painting | The Fabric | ROADS

I've been meaning to post a bit more, in the future, about my journey into textile design. Still wondering if it could be an interesting YouTube video or simply a blog post, but until then, I'll continue sharing these creations because it is one of the coolest things I get to do with my practice, which is combining so many of my past learned skills, desires and weirdly blending with this new life direction.

My head is filled with ideas of what I'll be creating with these fabrics and the reasons why I came all this way, learned all those skills in completely different, unrelated moments of my life and merging to produce all these paintings, fabrics and soon very cool items you may love to cherish in your homes.

I've created a few last year that were never truly acknowledged in the proper way (aka: posted content about them while screaming at the top of my lungs that I LOVE textile design and it's making me make peace with my fashion design student days)

This design is inspired by the painting ROADS; you can read the artist's statement here.

More will follow :)

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and watch this video. ✨
