Inside your eyes

When I look at you, I see what was, what is and what may be.

The eyes are a window into the soul... do you believe that?

In the painting Inside Your Eyes, I'm expressing the essence of a person's gaze through an abstract lens. The shades of blue reflect the depths and mysteries hidden within our spirits, and the mucky waters of the mind we can see through.

The swirling white lines represent the unique topographies visible to the human eye, with each loop and whirl representing an individual's distinct identity. Accents of orange spheres and streaks of purple cut through the cool blues, adding warmth, passion, energy and mystery.

This painting is about what we can see beyond the eyes of someone and even ourselves. Our thoughts, our desires, our memories and all those other events that shaped who we are.
