Are we ever stuck in a situation, whether it is pleasurable or not?
Who or what is keeping us stuck? Is it ourselves? Our circumstances?
Is passion keeping you chained to something or someone you like or dislike?
These are the few questions the devil card in the tarot is trying to ask us.
A red-headed woman, representing the element of fire, seems to be stuck between ever-growing vines. She's placed on a black backdrop representing a void or a hyper-focused state where nothing else can be visible. She's all in, or all out. We're not really sure.
Her hair, shaped like the devil's horns, may be trying to imply that she may be consenting to her own submission. Does she like it or not?
Healthy vines are growing all around her; some may become tight around her neck, in the future, if she doesn't help redirect the thriving branches in ways that create a positive future.
